These amazing students competed in the annual Quiz Bowl Tournament at Caddo Magnet High School in Shreveport. Both teams qualified for the elimination round, ranking 7th and 16th out of 26 teams! 🌟 Final rankings will be released later this week. We are so proud of you all!

📢 EGMS Dodgeball Tournament Announcement 🎤🏆
Attention all dodgeball warriors and future champions! 🏐💥 Next **Friday**, we are throwing down in an **EPIC Dodgeball Tournament** to raise money for the **American Heart Association**. That’s right—it’s your chance to dodge, dip, duck, dive, and *absolutely obliterate* your friends (in a totally safe and school-approved way, of course).
Here’s how to get in on the action:
👉 **$10 per player** to enter.
👉 Teams can have **up to 10 members**, but no more than **7 boys per team**
👉 No team? No problem! Sign up anyway, and we’ll find you some dodgeball homies.
👉 Bring your money to your **PE teachers next week** to sign up.
**Not playing? No worries!** You can still be part of the hype by paying **$5 on Friday** to wear jeans and watch the tournament live. Yes, you heard that right—**$5 to chill in jeans and watch pure dodgeball chaos unfold**.
**Now, for the best part…** 🏆 The **winning team** will get the **ULTIMATE PRIZE**—a chance to **take on the teachers**. That’s right, folks. You’ll have full permission to launch dodgeballs at the people who assign homework. 🤣

During WIN time each day, students work on programs to fill learning gaps. These programs are individualized and require the use of wired headphones. All students are required to use headphones for WIN time. Please ensure your child brings their headphones daily. As a convenience, we have some for purchase in the office each morning for $5.
