Ruth Hill is a mover and shaker and the impact she is having in the Hispanic community has people sitting up and taking notice.
The English Learner (EL) teacher at Greenacres Middle School was recently honored with the Teacher Lifetime Achievement Award by the Hispanic Heritage Association of Northwest Louisiana. Hill builds strong relationships with each of her students and their families and helps meet their needs to help them grow academically and socially. She also goes the extra mile to connect them with resources when needed.
Hill is definitely a difference maker and champion for Bossier Parish students and we congratulate her for this well-deserved and earned award.
