Parkway High senior Addison Norcross could not have been more shocked when she was summoned to the school office to take a phone call from U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson. He had the privilege of surprising her with the news that she had been appointed to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Johnson's legislative assistant was on hand to present Norcross with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition commemorating her appointment, as were Sen. Alan Seabaugh and Rep. Dennis Bamburg.
Congratulations to Norcross for this huge accomplishment and honor.
