The Benton Middle School Tiger Library was in the spotlight at the annual Louisiana Library Association conference where Kim Howell and April O’Donohue were named winners of the 2024 James O. Modisette Award for Middle School Library Programs.
Originating in 1947, the James O. Modisette Award is given to schools when merited to recognize excellence in Louisiana library programs.
“This is an outstanding accomplishment and a second Modisette Award win for Kim Howell, who previously won the Elementary Award in 2017 at Stockwell Elementary with her clerical assistant, Kari Johnson,” said Karyn Flowers, Supervisor of Instructional Services at Bossier Schools.”
Congratulations to this dynamic duo for this amazing achievement!
