High School Pathways

Whether you decide to pursue post-secondary education at a traditional four-year college, a two-year college, or a technical college, or seek full-time employment after high school graduation, Bossier Parish Schools offers programs that prepares all students.  We have Dual Enrollment partnerships with Bossier Parish Community College, Louisiana Tech University, Louisiana Technical College and Northwestern State University.  Students are provided the opportunity to earn college credit through the Advanced Placement program and CLEP.  Students have the opportunity to take Career and Technical Education courses on their traditional high school campus and extensive offerings at Bossier Parish School of Technology and Innovative Learning. The standards aligned core content curriculum provides students with necessary skills to be successful on the ACT and specific business and career courses prepare students for the WorkKeys test. Bossier Parish high school students may also choose to pursue the high school curriculum virtually through the Virtual Learning Program.

Alternative Course Providers

If course or an advanced course option is offered at the home school, then the school will not authorize an off-campus option.

If an LDOE approved DE Course offered through higher education institutions fails to align with BPSB approved curriculum, then the school will not award TOPS University core course credit for this off-campus option.
