Haughton High School Military Connected Student Group
Haughton High School is committed to supporting our military connected students through our Student 2 Student (S2S) program and Purple Star Group/club. Our goal is to help our new military connected students transition quickly and feel connected with our school, staff, and community. We also offer services through our Military Family Life Counselor, and have a transition student-to-student program in place. We honor our Veterans each year, and celebrate the month of the military child with Purple UP activities and program in April each year, We have a staff member who acts as the military family liaison to help students and their families with specific, unique needs often associated with our military families. Through monthly meetings, special projects, and intentional time together, our goal is to help our military students build lasting relationships within the community for whatever amount of time we are able to host them!
